Art.in is a platform for art and art works and giving an opportunity to various artists to display their works and talent online. It also offers an opportunity to artists to sell their art works online. Thus we can be said to be an online gallery for the sale of original art, as well as open-edition reproductions or prints by contemporary artists, covering a wide range of tastes. In addition, we provide high-quality framing to enhance your art purchase. It is basically the artist who decides what he wants to sell and we are a facilitator to him. In addition, we offer a one-stop online shopping experience that lets you acquire art that is customized to your unique taste by giving you art works of diverse artists from across the country and globe. Currently, we sell paintings, drawings, sketches, photographs and digital art and shall be adding murals, artefacts, antiques, etc to our list soon. We also plan to offer our art lovers, art supplies at reasonable rates. Our aim is to provide opportunity to artists to monetize their art and to make a art career of choice for people rather than only a past time. We also want art lovers to appreciate the various unknown artists in the country and across the globe.
What kind of art do you sell?
We basically let the artist decide what he wants to sell and offer him an opportunity to sell his art be it original paintings, open- edition reproductions or prints by contemporary artists, etc. Currently, we sell paintings, drawings, sketches, photographs and digital art and shall be adding murals, artefacts, antiques, etc to our list soon. We also plan to offer our art lovers, art supplies at reasonable rates. We also plan to let the artists discover the true price of their art by having online art auctions.
Do you sell photographs?
No as such we do not sell photographs. What we sell are open-edition reproductions or prints by contemporary artists and these are an integral part of our offering. However, please note that Art.in is not a stock image website. We only sell those photographs which have been uploaded by artists/photographers with the intention to sell them.
Do you sell murals?
Currently, we do not sell murals at Art.in.
I want to buy an original art. Do you sell original art as well?
Yes, , Art.in currently offers a limited selection of original art shipped directly from the artist which the artist or the holder of the art certifies is original work of the concerned artist. As per our terms and conditions the responsibility of the art being original is of the artist/person who has uploaded the artist.
Do you offer wooden frames?
As a responsible organization, we condone the use of wood in art-frames. Our frames are made of high-grade fibre, and they look exactly like wooden frames, but are lighter, cheaper and environment-friendly. You have a wide range of frames to choose from, and we plan to give you more choices in the near future.
Will the art I buy come with a glass cover?
No, we do not use glass while framing our art. Canvas prints are best viewed without a glass cover. For our photo art prints, we protect the art from dust by proving a premium laminate over the art. Glass is susceptible to breakage especially during transportation, and we want our customers to have high quality art options at affordable prices.
Do you supply what is needed to hang my framed print?
If you are buying a framed artwork from us, everything you need to properly hang your frame is included with your purchase.
Do you provide matting options? Can I customize my own mat?
Currently, we do not offer matting customizations. We plan to introduce this feature soon.
How should I clean my artwork?
Always use a clean, soft and dry cloth to wipe your art piece clean. Always apply light pressure when dusting the surface of the artwork. Please avoid using water, soap, thinner or detergent to clean your artwork.
How do I go about shopping on your website?

After your shortlisting is over, go to 'My Favourites' and take a closer look at your shortlisted items. Go to their individual art pages, and see what they look like by zooming into them. If you want to buy a print, your artwork is completely customizable. Choose a print size and print medium, and then choose a frame from our wide range of framing options. See how your art looks in the frame you selected. Also, you can see how your framed artwork looks on the wall of a room, by clicking 'Room Preview'. You can drag your artwork to the place of your choice on the wall of the rooms. Once you are completely satisfied, click on 'Buy it Framed' and your artwork will be added to your shopping cart. After this, you can either continue to shop, or proceed to make the payment.
How do I buy an original artwork?
We will be happy to assist you. If you want to buy an original artwork that is available for sale, please click on the box which says 'Buy the Original from the Artist'. This will take you to an Original Artwork Enquiry Form. Please fill out the form completely and submit. We will contact you within 24 hours and set up a payment process and schedule a delivery to an address of your choice. Please note that all original artwork is shipped directly from the artist to you.
Does the image on your site accurately represent what I will be sent?
We strive for a high degree of image accuracy. However, in some cases, the visual representation may be approximate.
How accurate are the item dimensions listed on your web pages?
We verify the dimensions of all images on our site, but due to industry standards sizes can vary slightly.
Do you sell from any physical gallery as well?
No, we neither sell from, nor are associated with nor affiliated to any physical gallery. All our services are offered online.
What are the payment options available on your website?
We accept all major credit cards. You can also pay with your Debit Card, through Net Banking, or through Mobile Payments.

When will I get my art after purchasing it?
All reproductions on Art.in usually shipped within 4-5 business days (weekends and holidays are excluded). After an item has been shipped, the delivery time depends on the address to which the delivery has to be made. The originating point of all shipments is Mumbai, India. Please note that we use ground transportation to ship our products. If you would like us to ship your purchase to you through Air Services, please write to us with your order number at contactus@Art.in.in within 24 hours of placing the order and we shall air ship the consignment and all charges levied by the carrier will have to be borne by you..
I'm not sure if my art will be shipped properly. What if it is damaged?
Art.in has tied up with some of the most reputed brands in shipping and logistics in the country and across the world. Rest assured that the safe and secure transit and delivery of your art-purchase is as important to us as it is to you. Our packaging is sturdy, and we always ensure that we pack in extra shock absorbers and water-proof packaging material to ensure that your artwork is not damaged in anyway during transit.

Art.in will be delighted to be considered by you as a gifting partner! Our galleries are full of beautiful artwork that can be fantastic gifting options. And yes, you can ship to an address that is different from your billing address. In our checkout section, there are two address options, one is your billing address, and the other is the delivery address. Just fill in the appropriate addresses and your gift will be on its way in no time!
